The Student Conduct and Community Standards Office is committed to promoting student accountability and instilling a sense of civic responsibility through the enforcement of the Student Code of Conduct. The code is administered by the Student Conduct and Community Standards Office to provide students with a due process review of any complaints made by or against them. Hearing boards comprise students, faculty, and staff and consider evidence and issue findings to respond to disciplinary violations.

Buffalo State encourages students to practice positive and productive behavior both in and outside the classroom. Students are responsible for reading, understanding, and abiding by the policies outlined in the code, and the office works with multiple departments across campus to address student concerns and provide support where needed.
