Details of DNA profiling, including DNA extraction, DNA quantification, PCR amplification, STR analysis and interpretation, and mtDNA sequencing. Protein polymorphisms and immunological tests. Laboratory component providing hands-on experience with techniques commonly used in a forensic biology laboratory.
