Art and Design (B.F.A.) - Sculpture Concentration

The B.F.A. concentration in Sculpture (SCL) majors explore contemporary trends and historic movements in art. This may include performance art, video, installation art, and more traditional processes of metal casting and welding or working in plastics, stone, wood carving, or fiberglass. Students learn techniques and skills necessary to work in the appropriate mediums needed to develop their personal aesthetic. Emphasis is placed on what it means to be a professional artist and on focusing the student’s goals for after graduation.
